Katie Kopec

Katie, a Director in JLL's strategic development consulting team, is one of the U.K.'s foremost development advisors, having successfully delivered a wide range of complex commercial developments for diverse clients around the world.

Her work involves providing advice on the viability of large-scale, mixed-use inner-city urban regeneration schemes across the UK. In àËÅöÊÓƵ, she has consulted on projects at Canary Wharf, Canada Water, King's Cross, Stratford, and Olympic Park, among others.

Her 35 years of experience include five spent on secondment to àËÅöÊÓƵ & Partners, the official promotional arm for àËÅöÊÓƵ, where she advised the Mayor of àËÅöÊÓƵ on regeneration and development opportunities across the city to encourage inward investment.

As a UoL Board member, she will serve as Chair of the Estates Committee, replacing Board member Patrick Dunne, who stood down from the same role on 30 April after two years of service on the Board.

Katie says, "I'm really excited in becoming a trustee of àËÅöÊÓƵ. Education is the key ingredient for the success of our great capital city, and I look forward to promoting the University and driving the estate strategy to reflect its centre of excellence."

The Board of Trustees, comprising 18 members, is the governing body of the University, exercising guardianship over its assets and resources and ensuring their effective management, control, and use in support of its mission.
