Sustainability is at the heart of our events and hospitality services. We’re leading the way for sustainable venues in àËÅöÊÓƵ and are proud of our environmentally friendly practices and credentials.
We minimise waste wherever possible, operating a recycling programme and zero-to-landfill policy. Our energy is purchased from carbon-free sources and supplemented by our own electricity generated by solar panels on the roof of Senate House. We maintain a heating and cooling policy that reduces unnecessary energy use.
We also champion sustainability in our catering services – our menus focus on local and seasonal ingredients, and we encourage balanced ordering to reduce waste.
Our several biodiverse green spaces around Bloomsbury are pollinated by our resident bees, kept on the roof of the Institute of Advanced Legal Studies building.
Thanks to our Central àËÅöÊÓƵ location with excellent transport links and on-site bike parking, guests can easily reach us in an eco-friendly way.
