Visiting Senate House
The nearest underground stations are:
- Russell Square (Piccadilly Line)
- Goodge Street (Northern Line)
- Tottenham Court Road (Central Line and Northern Line)
- Euston Square (Circle Line, Metropolitan Line and Hammersmith and City Line)
- Euston Station (Victoria Line & Northern Line)
Euston, King’s Cross and St. Pancras mainline stations are within walking distance. The other àËÅöÊÓƵ mainline stations are a short tube or taxi journey away.
Closest bus stops - Tottenham Court Road or Russell Square (Numbers 7, 24, 29, 68, X68, 73, 91, 134, 168 and 188).
The surrounding area of the University's central precinct has a number of places in which you can attach and lock your bicycle. However, if you are attending a conference and wish to use the University's facilities for parking you will need to contact the Conference Office to prearrange the use of a space.
Alternatively, if you are coming for a meeting or visiting the premises you will need to ask the University representative managing your visit or meeting to arrange a space for you through security/reception.
Please note that spaces are limited and that bicycles left on our premises are done so at the owner’s risk. We recommend that belongings are locked away out of sight as the University cannot be held responsible for thefts or damage to bicycles.
Public car parking is not available at Senate House. car parks are available at Woburn Place & Bloomsbury Place.
The west entrance of Senate House is now a unique place to meet, eat, and be entertained for students, staff, and the local community.
The architecturally designed independent structure, which opened on 6 October 2022, provides dual entertainment spaces, allowing for performances to take place at the base of or underneath the steps. The surrounding area provides further opportunities for engagement with visitors through pop-up stalls and food/beverage vans to support a variety of social events.
