Equivalent qualifications where you live

We accept qualifications from all over the world. You will find the relevant qualifications equivalent on the individual Undergraduate course pages.

We accept many qualifications that aren't listed here, including Diplomas, Advanced Diplomas, Higher Diplomas National Diplomas and Professional Awards.

We don't list every country, and sometimes there are several grading systems operating within a single country.

If you hold qualifications not listed, or you are unsure if yours will be valid for entry and there is an application fee for your chosen programme, contact us before you apply.

Due to high volumes of applications being received, we are unfortunately unable to provide eligibility advice for undergraduate programmes during August, September and October.

We do not provide eligibility advice for postgraduate programmes and would encourage you to submit an application. Please note that there is no application fee for postgraduate applications.

Consideration by the Admissions Panel

If you are not automatically eligible, our Admissions Panel will consider you on an individual basis. The Admissions Panel will consider qualifications which are not published under the Qualifications for Entrance Schedule, incomplete qualifications (e.g. diplomas / degrees) and substantial relevant work experience. If we cannot accept you with your current qualifications and experience, we will advise you what qualifications you could take in order to become eligible in the future. This could include our International Foundation Programme or Certificate of Higher Education Routes.

Requirements for our postgraduate courses (Masters / Postgraduate Diploma / Postgraduate Certificate) or standalone modules can vary. These can all be found on our course pages.

Some of our federation members have identified specific equivalent qualifications from around the world for entry to their distance-learning courses.

What happens after you apply?

We are committed to ensure that all decisions taken by the Admissions Office are clear, transparent and consistent. But we understand that you may wish to appeal against decisions made by our panel.

I wish to appeal a decision concerning eligibility.
